Note that Rebecca Mercuri's standards include where the paper is the
official ballot, so they appear to apply to the OVC approach (and
perhaps rule it out!).

Best regards,
Arthur

Status:

Attached is a REVISED version of the AVVPAT proposed annex wording.
This one is considerably changed, based on feedback that was received
from the earlier draft.

I am making the following requests of group members:

1) Doug, please replace the one on the website with the one attached here.

2) Everyone, please check for wording that you believe to be overly
prescriptive and suggest how it should be made less so.

3) Vendors with DREs that operate as ballot printers, please check for
wording that you believe does not accommodate your implementation.

4) Accessibility people, please check to be sure that all of your needs and
concerns are addressed. I have not yet heard from your group, and would like
to get some feedback ASAP.

As before, please provide input to me, in as specific a form as possible
(in other words, give precise change suggestions, not just vague comments).
For this process to converge in a timely fashion, your immediate attention
and review is needed.

Thank you,
Rebecca Mercuri.
