It's also worth noting that the code that *is* at their git
repository DOES NOT have any LICENSE notice (with the exception of
the Registrar component, which is labeled as CC-SA). I have inquired
to OSDV about their code license status, but have not yet received
any response. If anyone else is able to obtain clarification on just
how they have licensed their code, it would be great to hear about that.

I don't think there is any conspiracy or sleight-of-hand in not
having written all the code. Every project starts with some code
which isn't all of what it needs to be. But it is also conventional
with true FOSS projects to prominently indicate the rights of users
of even that first line of code. OSDV should do this ASAP.

Unfortunately, we have seen other players in this space who have
released code that claims to be Open Source, but is something less
than that on closer inspection. It heightens concern for
clarification of license status when someone new "releases" (or
announces) something.
