I agree with everything you have all said here about O'Dell's article.
Despite how much I liked Part 1 of O'Dell's article, I am concerned that
Part 2 of Bruce O'Dell's article may include a wrongful attack on the open
source voting community. Bruce has not studied elections and voting issues
as much as most of us, so he may be unaware of how electronic vote counts
can be used to detect and prevent certain types of commonly used paper
ballot tampering.

I urge you to email your comments directly to Bruce at "Bruce O'Dell" <>.

Bruce needs to hear from you, IMO, and may listen to you. He asked me not
to forward any of your comments to him, so you'll have to contact him

The position of Bruce O'Dell in the election integrity movement is being
promoted by very prominent persons like Vicki Lovegren who arranged the OH
We Count conferenceand Mark Crispin Miller, Jonathan Simon, and election
integrity activists in CA, The Election Defense Alliance, etc. despite the
fact that his proposals for election audits are highly impractical and
flawed, and despite his former wrongful mischaracterizations and attacks
against other election integrity activists. So it may be important to
respond to him.

If only election integrity activists would confine their attacks to the
other side, rather than our own!
