Darnit. It looks as though no one has done any county-level exit polling
or pre-election polling in America in any states. Although it is possible
to obtain voting machine type in connection with state polls, but they are
not identified by county as I'd hoped.

You would think that someone would have thought of doing county-level exit
polls, at least in states like Florida. I'm sure I don't have the kind of
money needed to arrange such studies now.

The folks doing many of these polls for the press are too busy to speak
right now and I was told to call back the week of Nov. 8th.

Because we'll be comparing relative variances, it still may suit our
purpose to use residual error rates and precinct voting vs. paper absentee
+ paper early voting.
