Yep. But if I create a setup.py and friends, I'd reorganize files a
bit, in the manner I described. I'm happy to do it; but I don't want
to post another archive that would confuse testers about the "official"
structure.

Maybe I'll wait until after the demo, and clean up the distribution in
the manner I suggest, including an installation script. I *do* have
another deadline I'm busy sweating right now (and shouldn't be posting
here).

Ah... the dot was my problem. I had pulled down several individual
directories, but they all seemed to be deeply nested. I didn't know
the dot would pull from the root.
