Definitely. But I think this should wait until after an XML format has
been devised for defining the coordinates for the active areas on the
ballot. It's not crucial for the demo.

I see your point about the County Commissioner but I think the question
should be brought up later, along with a full usability review. It's
not a show-stopper for the demo.

FWIW, I feel that a multi-page walkthrough will be necessary for the
sake of accessibility for people with low vision, and to work around
the imprecision of touch-screens. I was a bit surprised to see such a
crowded single-page ballot design when I was invited to work on the

If anybody else concurs with that thought, I might try to find time on
the weekend to write an alternate GUI - a multi-page one - that could
be snuck into the demo if Alan so chooses.
