I -do- have a number of author copies still boxed. I sold a number
that way, but that dribbled out after a while (maybe if I made more of
an effort to push them I could sell the rest). So I'd be happy to send
inscribed copies to any EVM/OVC folks who want them, at less than the
price I would otherwise sell them at.

I can get the publisher to send a limited number of additional reviewer
copies (but especially to people who actually will review them, either
in publications or for classroom usage). Fred and Jan gave me mailing
info off-list, btw, and I've notified AW to send both of you copies.

Unfortunately, authors like me have remarkably influence over the
distribution and advertising decisions made by publishers. That's part
of why I made sure at least some version of _TPiP_ is available to
everyone for download. That said, I'll convey the suggestion to push
copies to Bangalore. Why don't you write me off-list, Anand, and let's
chat about bookstores or markets (or programming publications in
India); maybe I can make a better case to AW that way.
