Re: [OVC-discuss] secure voting system already exists - ReDear Artur
the code doesn't have anybody influence on the vote!
With the paper and the pencil you express a vote, you see it and you are sure of the vote that you have expressed.
If the pencil or the paper don't allow you to express your vote, you immediately see it and you don't vote.
So it is in my automated voting system.
The voter sees in every moment what has voted and exactly brings it to the urn like does with the classic paper-based system.
The vote that resides in the urn has such arrangements that cannot be modified neither replaced.
There is a dual digital and physical security. The digital vote cannot exist without that there is a clear vote and vice versa. A double face exists (Giano Bifronte) , it is not possible to modify one without changing the other, but is not even possible to replace it, because a chain that is compared to different physical entities exists, every separated by the other, but all are active in the generation of the vote-card or the vote on the same vote-card.
The best greetings

  Dear Giuseppe,

We look forward to hearing about your system when it is unveiled. In the meanwhile, it is merely a promise (i.e., vaporware). However, most of the people on this list will not trust your system without access to the source code, preferably open source.

There is also concern about the definition of "secure"; do you include denial-of-service attacks, for example, as threats to security?

  Best regards,
  Arthur

A secure voting system already exists!
This system allows to vote with a digital machine, to check what has been voted, to make it digital, univocal, not alterable , print what you voted, to put in the urn the printed vote and to make it not replaceable. The counting of the votes is not alterable, You can check it at any time, even after many years, quickly. The technology will be unveiled in January of 2008.
