Hello Bob,

Your proposal sounds kind of interesting. Do you think you could provide
the group a couple of paragraphs on your basic approach?

Subject: [OVC-discuss] Transparent Tabulator

Hi All,

I recently joined your email group and would like to thank everyone on
this mailing list for their efforts to improve our voting process. I
consider this issue to be the most important issue our democracy faces

I too have been motivated to improve our voting process. Presently I
have two provisional patents and one regular patent application for what
I call a Transparent Tabulator. This devise will enable anyone to
monitor the detailed operation of the tabulator while it is counting the
votes on Election Day. The features of the machine will detect software
errors/changes, hardware errors, and malicious actions by
individuals. At the present time, emails are being exchanged discussing
how to verify what software was executed when a vote was tabulated. I
believe the Transparent Tabulator I am proposing solves the identified
problem. I am very interested in presenting this new concept to all
interested members of this email list and getting feedback. I reside in
the Santa Cruz, CA area so a meeting in the San Francisco Bay area would
be ideal for me. If the individuals that are interested would email me
their availability during the month of December I will determine a date
and time for the meeting. The presentation will take 30-45 minutes
followed by a discussion. I would also appreciate any suggestions for
the meeting place.

Thank you in advance for your responses.
