I changed the goal for subscribers to 1212 by 12/12. The 1111 by 11/11 goal
depended on being able to line up some large mailings by today or tomorrow.
We haven't been able to do this yet so it appears unlikely we could meet the
1111 goal. The 1111 goal could actually be a disincentive right now
because it may look unattainable to OVC.org visitors.

So, I changed it. I am working with a lot people in effort to attain the
exposure we will need to get these subscriptions. I have some definite
ideas on that. I hope all of you will help think of ways too.

So far, what we have done with this membership drive is encouraging. We
continue to get one new subscriber for every 200 visitors, approximately.
In addition, we are raising money from one time donations at a good rate.
The 93 new subscriptions (101 total Supporting Members now) represents $930
in immediate cash, while the one-time contributions have totalled over

I want to reach 1,000 "soon." 10,000 will mean we can support several staff
and have some money available to start paying ITA fees. 100,000 and the OVC
will become the juggernaut (next year?).
