You're absolutely right. And if we publicly counter what they are saying we'll do a lot of harm.
But they should rightly so be told to verify their conclusions with you before they print them!

      One of the more bizzare principles of public relations is that a bad or even wrong story is better than no story. However, no one particularly knows how to get through to Commander Taco. You can sign up for free membership on Slash dot and then reply to the story. You could even write up a press release and ask all of us that have membership in Slash dot to copy it to that topic. There is no guarantee in all this as it is apparently a somewhat anarchistic organization.

    How do we correct that slashdot story? They didn't call me and there' a
    major blunder that is giving misleading info on it re voting machine
    vendor, making it sound like Diebold is NOT the voting machine vendor for
    the opscan counties which it and ES&S ARE.
