I heartily endorse this thought.

I partly got this thread rolling with a post saying that partisan issues aside, people appear to vote differently on touch screens than paper ballots. I deliberatlely did not consider the means of the distributions which would be discussing who won or lost, but instead discussed the fact that the distributions had different widths indicating different voter behaviours on the two systems. I did this to suggest that Human factors issues in ballot design are already showing up.

This thread is now getting a tad hijacked to organize volunteers bent on showing machines made errors and refighting the election. A sentiment easily found on other forums but one I would prefer not to see on the OVC bulliten board.
