FYI, due to extensive abuse there is no major search engine that still
uses the keywords metatag.

If you want to up your Google score you need to get more people to link
to you. It'll be easier if you specify the words that you want Google
to bring up your site for. For instance, I can drop this on all of my
web sites pretty much anywhere and it will up your Google score. If any
of you have web sites please do the same.

<a href="http://www.openvotingconsortium.org/">Open Voting Consortium</a>
<a href="http://www.openvotingconsortium.org/">Electronic Voting</a>
<a href="http://www.openvotingconsortium.org/">e-voting</a>
<a href="http://www.openvotingconsortium.org/">Cryptographic Voting</a>
etc...

If anyone else can think of words we want linked to the site, please
chime in. This is called Google bombing.

While you're at it add one or more of these links to your sig on any
blogs you happen to be part of. This is a fair variant of blog
spamming. I believe you also get a higher ranking if your site has a
lot of pages on it, real or otherwise, so you could create a pile of
nonsense or repetative pages and just link to them via dot links at the
bottom of some page.
