Not for Lurkers

The voting-project list has grown to over 40 members.

I want to remind people of something from our meeting notes of 7/31

> It is understood that the people and roles are not static -
> we expect the team to grow and change.
This list is not for lurkers. There is overhead involved in maintaining the
list (dealing with bounced messages, for example). A number of people have
joined but have made no apparent contributions to the project. Even if all
you ever said was, "I told my Aunt Edna about this project and she said it
was good" I would consider that a contribution. But a lot of list members
have been on the list for many weeks and have not even done so much as that.

We will be removing non-contributors soon. I don't have specific guidelines
worked up for removal, but you should be able to figure it out yourself.
Generally speaking, if you've made no contributions we have heard about, you
will be removed.

Along these lines, Arthur Keller has asked to have phone numbers for all
voting-project members. He has had to deal with administrative issues with
the list and sometimes has no way to reach members with which he is having
some email problem.

Please send Professor Keller your phone number via email (unless you are
certain he already has it). His email address is
