I've only ever looked at the web forum once since it was created--a few
days ago when Ed Kennedy complained of spam content there. My quick
glance showed a post that seemed wrong-headed, but not spam (spam is
those ads for gambling or pornography that robots insert on Wikis; I
had thought that's what Ed meant from his first post). Quite possibly,
Adler has indeed gotten worse after the thing I read--to JamBoi
proportions, perhaps; I dunno, I haven't bothered to read it.

I think its fine to shut down the barely used forum. This list--which
is archived--is the primary communication mechanism for discussion. We
don't confusingly need multiple overlapping ones. (We had this before
to an extent where people innocently wandered onto the Sourceforge
forum looking for developer discussion, rather than to the
OVC-developer list).

I think shutting it down is a Chito thing. I don't have access to the
OVC website setup (well, I probably do have the passwords somewhere,
but I've never used them, and don't want to step on someone else's
setup).
