I agree that Florida's poor bunch card system aggravated the problem.
But Mercuri, when I saw her, pointed out an example of a touchscreen
system that used butterfly arrangement (much like my ASCII art
example), that likewise produced large voter-intent problems.
Presumably, alignment wasn't an issue in the GUI screen.
