Which is in line with other certifications. For example, if my memory
serves me right, the cost to certify cable modems (i.e. cable TV set top
boxes) is around $50,000 just to be tested *once* - with no discount on
subsequent tests should the unit not pass - plus the price of sending an
engineer to the Colorado plains for several weeks.
