We are working on developing a proposal to the Secretary of State's
office. Once it is funded, you'll be sure to hear about it.

No, and we will not do so until we get further along in the
negotiation process with the Secretary of State's office. We think
it makes sense to time the hiring process along with the contract
signing process. Otherwise, the whole posting and interview process
will be a waste of time for all concerned.

I strongly disagree. We need to do a complete design exercise first.
Everything I've seen about system design says that you need to design
the system *before* implementing it. OVC volunteers have developed a
demo system.

I'm working on a system architecture document for the UC project. I
look forward to people's comments on that document. I'll announce
when it is ready.

Best regards,
Arthur
