I'm not quite sure of what you're asking. By "sample ballot" I guess you're
talking about the demo ballot? I didn't repeat the question on the layout I
did for the Santa Monica ballot. I just put Measure XX. Maybe you are
referring to something Doug said.

Anyway, the way I have the Measures and Propositions on the Santa Monica
ballot reminds me of a capability we may want to add to the EVM. After
"Print my ballot" is selected, the machine would go to the opening screen
for EVM. Maybe we should have two options 1) Start Voting and 2) Review
contests. That way, while verifying the printout, the voter could select
"Review contests" in case s/he forgot what Measure JJ was about (obviating
the need to explain that on the printout).
