The Free Software Foundation, Richard Stallman, and Eben Moglen (and
me) all disagree with you:

I doubt you can find any well-known published work that advances your
idiosyncratic definition of Free Software; and I think we are better
off, in the OVC, sticking with the widely used meaning.

I'm not merely trying to be ornery; I also think it is important that
other list readers do not get confused on the ordinary meanings of
terms, and thereby embarrass OVC because of misuse.
