How many different certified configurations do you expect to have
available for use (or in use) at any given time? Maintaining such
configurations is a nightmare. What experience do you have doing so?

Part of this project will be to gain experience with such things and
to determine what best to use. One benefit of using GPL software, is
that we can make improvements to the software as needed and then
contribute back those improvements.
