Actually, I'm not sure what "bog trot" is... but I have VERY rarely in
my life (a major portion of which was spent studying and writing
philosophy) seen such contrived and dishonest argument. "Sophistical"
comes close to being a compliment for this rubbish. The hiring
standards of Carnegie-Mellon must be a lot lower than I would have
assumed an hour earlier!

However, I am aware my general vitriol doesn't do you much real good.
I could go through and catalog dozens of logical fallacies in it--maybe
hundreds. I'm not sure I have the stomach for that; but even if I did,
I doubt the SoS's would read such a laundry list.
