However, we had best try to satisfy the spirit of the rules, if we

I think that the concept that the regulated write the regulations is
a flawed approach, for commercial vendors or for us. We should
participate in the standards process as can any organization. We can
even write model standards for our type of equipment, but those are
battles for another day. Let's pick and choose our battles. Our
first priority is to build a real system and get it adopted widely.
Let's not let standards politics get in the way of that first
