Hi,
I've had this document personally delivered to a dozen legislators, 10% of the county clerks, and various county councils in my state (NM).

I think it's a terrific document. It only has two problems 1) it's too long for many purposes 2) it pulls its punches in terms of the more egrigious errors that have been documented.

But it serves it's mission of not being sensational. However I have found it's important to tailor the message when delivering it. Our Election officials have quick (incorrect) rebuttals to many of the issues the document raises.

But it's nice to have this well prepared document in my breifcase to leave with people.

Ellen Theisen, formerly of Verified Voting, has put together a pretty good
document aimed at informing election officials.

The OVC gets a pretty nice treatment in the paper. Her group,
votersunite.org, is trying to circulate this document as widely as possible.
I haven't studied the document in detail (it's 59 pages), but what I've seen
appears to be pretty accurate and thorough.

I'd like to hear some commentary on this paper from our studious
voting-project members, and it might be worthwhile to support the
votersunite.org project.
