I'm on the Creative Commons mailing list. They like our work, but like
everybody else they want to put their energies into projects that can
be seen to be going somewhere. We need what the semiconductor business
calls a design win.

I'm also working on free textbooks under CC licenses with One Laptop
Per Child and Sugar Labs. If we were to package our voting and
tabulating software for use on OLPC XO laptops in schools, we would
find it easier to talk to OLPC's sponsors, such as Google, Red Hat,
AMD, and eBay. XO activities are almost all written in Python. Some
collaboration code is required, and XO activity bundles have to have
certain auxiliary files such as an icon in a specific directory
structure. http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Developers
