Perhaps someone could serve it as a BitTorrent torrent? That'd take care of
the pesky bandwidth problem...

I have mirrored the file to my gnosis.python-hosting.com domain, where
the mailing list archive also lives. That site was kindly donated to
me (me being a prominent figure in the Python community), but I don't
want to abuse the generosity. Still it doesn't take many 300 MB
downloads to exceed 2 GB; I have a bit more breathing room at
python-hosting.

The precise URL is on a "need to download" basis. In particular,
anyone who knows about video editing tools, and thinks they can trim it
down to < 100 MB by futzing with resolution and/or codec, should email
me privately for the URL. I know very little about video stuff, but
the source is pretty large res, and probably with not so much
compression.
