It looks to me like OCR-B has a full-width m-dash while OCR-A uses a
half-width n-dash. I'm not sure if that's an issue of the available
characters, or just how the sample was prepared. But in the sample, at
least, I think the other characters are of the same width for each.

Still, that's just me eyeballing. I imagine those ANSI specs would
have real answers.
