That clause is not quite so easy to "sell"
directly - and may draw down unwanted
fire onto our position.

Of course the OASIS EML TC is operating
in that modus operandi (for now) in any
case - since its grandfathered in (new
OASIS IPR policy is a train-wreck
created by Microsoft and IBM).

I'd prefer to leave this open - and allow
the natural selection process to weed out
specifications that are not...

BTW - OASIS EML is on course for
submission to ISO - which will place
it out of reach of the OASIS IPR peddlers.
