No, it doesn't.

Another thing with the RII: When I looked closer at the pictures
from the April 1 demo, I noticed that the text on the screen was
messed up. My guess is that this was caused by some output from
the audio player (qtplay?). If it writes to standard error, you
can suppress it by starting the RII with the command: 2>/dev/null

This is probably shell dependent (works with bash/ksh/sh).
