Hi Alan,

Obviously, I am sorry to see this news. Since I believe in what you and
the rest of OVC is doing, I will continue to support you.

At this point, I believe that it is essential to find out why Bowen
declined to support Open Source and our solution in particular. Is there
someone else who has the inside scoop on Bowen's thinking or someone
with some clout that might use his/their influence to find out what is
the story? Without that information, we are flailing in the dark. Also,
while the state would be a big win, we still have local officials that
would be interested in implementing our Open Source solution in their
districts. (It must be allowable since not all districts in a state have
exactly the same voting hardware.)
