As long as it is not intended for public elections, I would ignore it. If it is for public elections, then we should pay attention. I believe this is the reorganized VoteHere company, and I don't think they are targeting public elections, at least not primarily.

Subject: [OVC-discuss] The Election Trust "secure and dependable online or phone voting..."

Take a look at http://www.electiontrust.com/. "Web Balloting is fast
becoming a preferred voting platform because it can be as secure and
reliable as paper balloting while holding down election costs..."

They've approached an organization I work with, as an application
service provider. My committee will soon be asked to comment on it.
Has this come up before? Is there something in writing I can crib
from, or do I have to come up with something from scratch?

Thanks.
