Excellent idea. I imagine there is a lot of variation and problems
with procedures in various audit procedures in counties. The progress
you are making in the biggest, most populous state in America is
terrific.

I am releasing a tiny press release and paper on election audits with
a small easy-to-use spreadsheet for the layman - officially tomorrow
and Wednesday. Here is what it will be with perhaps some small
changes:

http://electionarchive.org/ucvAnalysis/US/press/Release-audits.pdf

another attempt to make the audit issue understandable to layman
including all the election integrity HCPB activists who attack the
idea of audits - to show them that not all "audits" are created equal.

Feedback is welcome. Perhaps these short materials would be
appropriate for CA election officials - especially the small
spreadsheet that I and Marian Beddill created.
