Hello,

    You may want to first read the article about bar codes at
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bar_codes>, I suspect very simple bar codes
can be read by eye such as 1-D, two-width coding. However, the data density
on such a system is low so I don't think that's what we're thinking of
using. The Wikipedia article shows 37 different types of bar codes
including some that are stenagraphically concealed within graphics.
