Friday Meeting w/ UT Lt. Governor

Is there any representative of the Open Voting Consortium who could make
it to a Friday 1:30 pm. meeting at the Utah Capitol with the new Utah Lt.
Governor?

I have a meeting scheduled then, and I do have an extra bedroom and
bathroom for a guest. Sorry to give such last minute notice.

In Utah the Lt. Governor is in charge of elections, much like the SOS in
other states. The Lt. Governor Gary Herbert stopped the process of Utah's
voting equipment selection which had been due to finalize contracts in
December. Then Utah's Election Director who had relentlessly pushed for
DRE voting machines quit (thank the Lord), so now we have an opportunity
to get reasonable voting equipment here in Utah.

If anyone from Open Voting Consortium or a computer scientist on this list
who lives in Utah would like to attend Friday's meeting with me, please
let me know.

Thank you.

Kathy Dopp
