Demo for One Laptop Per Child, and XO as ballot scanner

I would like to get our demo packaged for the OLPC XO laptop, which
does not have a CD-ROM drive. I have raised the issue on the OLPC
development mailing list.

There is some discussion of using the built-in camera on the XO as a
bar code reader. I would like to see whether we can integrate this
into our code base, and make our software usable for school elections
and the like. You can find the information on how to apply for a
hardware development unit at
http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Developers_Manual. The video is 640 x 480
Webcam resolution, so the XO can't read whole pages at once, but it
should be able to manage 2D bar codes.
