No offense but from what I could tell about the e-mails sent out (as I did
get one and I knew several other people who got one) each link had a
different key on it and it was all linked to your registered e-mail
address. As well bunches of people wanted to vote but since they weren't
registered members before the vote they weren't able to get in on the vote.
Also the time frame in which people had to vote was very small, I think less
than a day. I would just like to make the argument that it looked like they
were at least 'trying' to make things secure as well they didn't give
everyone weeks on end to get their votes in (which is probably why
only 8.7%of the people voted, so really they're only counting the
demographic of
people who are sitting at their e-mail waiting for things to happen). I
would agree with you though that this hardly warrants "Internet Voting" but
the security was still seemingly there.
