on Diebolds.

I would highly recommend Brad Friedman's Blog today. He has raised the
issue of the alternative communication ports on Diebold's voting
systems (which is on other systems too). Including the infra-red data
port on the side of the machine. Most everyone is already familiar with
the Palm Pilots and laptops that have an infra-red port on them where
you can download or exchange files and other data with another computer
with no wired connection. It is the same as our remote controllers we
use to control our televisions and other home entertainment.
