Actually, I corresponded with them about this very issue. They said that
yes, it's commonly attributed to Stalin, but they were unable to actually
corroborate it through credible sources, so that's why they left it as
anonymous.
If you have a credible source that tracks it back to Stalin, they'd probably
be willling to update it to attribute it to him.
