I am not suggesting that this be the main line of development. Think
of it as a packaging issue for a specific platform.

I am not aware that the XO would impose any limitations on OVCri. XO
laptops come with 256 MB of RAM and 1G of NAND Flash storage. Screen
resolution is good (1200 × 900), and processor speed (433 MHz) should
be quite adequate. The only real limitation is that XOs are not
normally set up for local printing, but it can be done. We can hook
USB CD players to XOs in the normal way.

Some changes would be necessary to adjust the software to the
hardware, and to package it as a Sugar activity. This is different in
detail, but not in kind, from the processes of packaging software for
Red Hat or Debian Linux, which have incompatible software installation
systems.
