On the mockup ballot

it is only possible to deselect choices in the County Commissioner
contest (with "Reset Choices"). As Gregory suggests below, that should
be possible for all contests.

I hope to have fixed the problem he mentions.

Subject: Regarding voting software

Carbon copy made to webmaster at it.uu.se because of
internal server error mentioned below.

I was referred to your site from BlackBox.org after I
proposed an idea similar to what you were already doing.

I have some concerns regarding the sample ballot you present
at http://user.it.uu.se/~jan/voting-project/ballot.html.

Does the page present an HTML version of an e-ballot, or is
this the actual software? When I tried the ballot, I got an
internal server error (23:20 GMT -8:00) I tried submitting
the ballot with a few non-selected choices and some write-
ins. I understand that the software is still in development,
but I thought you should know. The error message I got had
little information; hopefully, something more meaningful is
in your logs.

Another concern is not having a race-by-race means to
deselect a choice. Often times (at least in the US), a
person will decide that none of the choices on the ballot
merit consideration, and that particular choice will be left
blank. If someone accidentally marks an option, there should
be a way to unmark that option without selecting something
else.

Thank you for the work you are doing.
