Right. Although we should point out that the 116-bit number is specific to
the demo. That's the way we're doing it for the demo.

The production system may or may not use a one-dimensional barcode. It
could use a 2-D barcode, or, as Doug wants to stress, a non barcode solution
may be feasible.
