This is fine for the demo. For production, the candidate name or
other selection can be highlighted with bold type, change in
type color or background color, flashing lights, waving flags,
dancing girls...um, well, anyway, whatever is deemed suitable.
Colored or othewise highlighted text on the screen can change
from "Please make your selection" to "N of M selected--Please
continue" to "Selection complete--Please check your selections"
or whatever.
