I might be wrong since I've never used touch screens (from a programmer
side of things, that is; I've touched an occassional kiosk). But my
understanding was that the driver for the touch screen simply emulated a
standard mouse API: a touch at a particular point is passed to the
application as a click at that coordinate. If that's the case, it
doesn't really matter what GUI library we use, just as long as it
supports mouse clicks.
