Touch screens and wxPython

I did a little google-based research last night. I could not find anyone
using wxPython with a touch screen - there were hints but no direct hits.

The closest was a mapping project for blind users -
http://pythonology.org/success&story=bats

It uses a touch pad (which is really just a kind of mouse device). They
apparently simply caputured wxPython's mouse motion events and simply used
the screen coordinates.

I suspect that one could create a wxPython app with big voting buttons
(wxPython is very flexible that way) - but it would still require a mouse
(or mouse equivalent) rather than a touch screen. And with big voting
buttons, an entire ballot probably won't fit onto one screen.

The search continues...
