My comment-

This video is dangerous as it creates the misconception that the current
voting system certification process is functional. Almost all experts,
including Roy Saltman and Alan Dechert, agree that the current voting system
certification process is irreparably broken due to the proprietary software
and vendor manipulation issues. We must encourage the EAC to quickly move
toward open source / paper ballot systems like the one demonstrated by Open
Voting Consortium in 2008 at LinuxWorld SF.

Subject: EAC trawls new lows with YouTube video

Please do not view this if you recently eat or drank something.

EAC YouTube
EAC has launched a YouTube Channel here
<http://www.congressweb.com/t/l/?PSMYBGGLJIQIMPA> , and it features EAC's
new video about how voting systems are certified.

Can someone please post something refuting this garbage and showing how they
are squandering public money on useless and irrelevant testing, preventing
entry to market of low cost solutions and worst - failing to actually test
the core functionality needed - accurate and trustworthy vote recording and
tallying - event failure reporting during voting operation - along with
reliable and open predictable audit support.

Thanks, DW
