Yes, but this is an existing COTS product, no mods needed. And you
need to understand how much running the printer off the same DRE
battery reduces the session life of the DRE battery. The advantage
of a second battery is longer running life, and fewer mods. Plus
having the existing printer stay on the DRE is an advantage in terms
of logging certain events, like boot up and shut down.
