I don't expect to convince you with this message to tone down your
remarks, but maybe others can.

Irrespective of the merits of the points you raise in your testimony,
it is personally insulting to the SoS staff, clearly inflammatory,
and so generally over the top, that it will have no positive effect
at all. It will only anger the staff, and cause them to completely
discount anything you say.

And it will not only affect the reception of what you say. Anyone
else who has a similar message, even if more respectfully presented,
may nonetheless be discounted as well because they will be assumed to
be allied with you. An opinion is often received according to the
impression made by the most harsh and extreme advocates of that
position, and I think that is what will happen here. You thus
completely undercut your message when you make public remarks like
this, and you do nothing but harm to the causes you intend to serve.

Please give some thought to at least removing the personally
offensive material, and also toning down the other overheated rhetoric.
