Well... OK, go for it. All you need is 2/3 vote in the House and in
the Senate, and majority approval by 3/4 of the state legislatures.

If you can get the amendment proposed in the legislature of
Massachusetts, I'll even write a letter of support to my State Senator.
  Well... maybe, it depends on what your amendment suggests instead.

True enough, BTW. One of the rather good parts of the design, in my
mind, is that it's relatively hard to change.
