Note that my proposal about the maintenance of complete documentation
does not restrict distribution, it merely obligates the distributer
to live up to certain standards. In this regard, it's not unlike
the GPL's restriction that you've got to keep the GPL attached when
you distribute the code, or like the BSD restrictions that require
the copyright notices to grow perpetually despite the fact that there's
no actual content being copyrighted (my favorite was an empty shell
script I found with a complete series of copyright notices that traced
back to almost primeval BSD through IBM and others).
