This is unnecessary, David. I have been perhaps the most outspoken advocate
of open source voting machines since 12/00.

I am no expert on licensing issues. I favor as much openness as possible in
the voting system, and as much openness as possible in the development of
open voting systems.

I withdraw from the GPL/Open Souce debate. I have nothing more to add. I
favor openness. I trust that Doug Jones, Arthur Keller, and you will come
up with the best Open licensing scheme.

In advance, I endorse whatever it is you three agree upon.
